G-spot augmentation
General Description of G-Spot Augmentation:
Increasing female sexual pleasure is no longer a taboo subject, as evidenced by its widespread discussion in women’s magazines. The discovery of the G-spot revealed the origin of intense vaginal orgasm. G-spot augmentation aims to increase, amplify, and even allow some women to discover vaginal orgasm.
The G-spot, or Gräfenberg spot, is an erogenous zone located inside the vagina, often associated with intense sexual stimulation and powerful orgasms for some women.
- It is usually located about 2 to 3 centimeters inside the vagina, on the front wall (near the belly button).
- The area is often described as slightly rough or wrinkled to the touch.
G-spot augmentation may be considered for several reasons, including:
Enhanced Sexual Pleasure: For some women, the G-spot is a very sensitive erogenous zone that, when stimulated, can provide more intense and deeper orgasms. G-spot augmentation aims to make this area even more receptive to stimulation, which can increase sexual pleasure and the intensity of orgasms.
Sexual dysfunction: Some women may experience difficulty achieving orgasm or feeling pleasure during intercourse due to reduced G-spot sensitivity. G-spot augmentation may be an option to improve their sexual response and their satisfaction.
Sexual Curiosity or Exploration: For some women, G-spot augmentation may be a decision based on curiosity or the desire to explore new sexual sensations and experiences.
Sex Reassignment Surgery: For transgender women who undergo sex reassignment surgery to create a neovagina, G-spot augmentation may be part of the procedure to improve their sexual satisfaction and comfort with their new anatomy.
It is important to note that G-spot augmentation is not necessarily recommended or desired for all women. This is a personal decision that must be made after careful discussion with a healthcare professional specializing in female sexuality and cosmetic procedures.
Increasing the volume of the G-spot can be achieved either by lipofilling, which involves injecting fat into the G-spot area, or by injection of hyaluronic acid. Currently, the most common method is hyaluronic acid augmentation, since it is resorbable and can be easily performed in the office, with only the application.
The Intervention Steps for G-Spot Augmentation:
Before any hyaluronic acid injection at the G-spot, a prior consultation with a cosmetic surgeon is essential. This step makes it possible to assess the patient's expectations and identify possible contraindications, such as herpes, hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, pregnancy or previous injections.
No before-and-after photos of the injection will be taken.
To prepare for the injection, it is recommended to avoid taking aspirin and anti-inflammatories in the 3 days preceding treatment. Although fasting is not necessary, it is not recommended to consume alcohol the day before and the day of the injection.
Before the procedure, local anesthesia is applied to the front wall of the vagina using an anesthetic cream like Emla.
This cream is usually left on for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before the injection to ensure patient comfort during the procedure.
Hyaluronic acid injections are performed in the office, unless combined with surgery, where hospitalization may be necessary. This procedure is carried out directly at the G-spot, which has previously been identified by palpation. The injection is carried out using a very fine needle, which makes the procedure completely painless after the application of local anesthesia.
The hyaluronic acid injection session is very quick, generally between 5 and 10 minutes.
- It is recommended to abstain from sexual intercourse for 72 hours after the injection.
- A scratching and tingling sensation may be felt for approximately 24 hours.
- There are no contraindications associated with physical activities.
- The patient can leave the doctor's office immediately after the injection.
